“Show what you can” – Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

The project is a follow-up of the project “Show what you can”, which successfully implemented the mentoring programme in and around Schwerin, the capital of the federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Through the mentoring programme in the follow-up project, 120 young participants will receive support on their professional path. Young people relying on youth welfare or living in foster families, so-called care-receivers, are especially targeted. Over a period of three years, the trainees are accompanied by mentors on their way to vocational training or higher education and are strengthened in their professional skills development. The project is connected with a mentoring programme in the regional network SchuleWirtschaft (School Economy) Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The partner also contributes to a highly valuable knowledge transfer within our programme Brückensteine with regards to newly developed support services that are specifically tailored to the needs of care-receivers.
