The organisation Réalise is renowned in Geneva and the surrounding region for its work with unemployed adults. It helps jobseekers to become qualified for the labour market by providing training and internships in its own businesses. The participants benefit from the expertise of Réalise staff members and their good connections to local businesses and industry.
Tried-and-tested methods of theoretical and practical on-the-job training are being expanded to specifically address the needs of young people and young adults. To this end, Réalise’s existing businesses are creating apprenticeships specially designed for young people who have a limited chance of accessing regular apprenticeships. Furthermore, the internships, accompanying training and coaching are all adapted to suit young adults.
