Economic development through promoting free movement of people and goods

In order to run their companies successfully, businesspeople and entrepreneurs should be able to travel and import and export products. The project aims to promote the free movement of people and goods in and out of the Gaza Strip, thereby contributing to local
economic development. The partner organisation provides legal assistance to businesspeople – with a focus on women, traders and manufacturers – to facilitate their individual travel, as well as the movement of goods. Enterprises and civil society institutions also receive information about regulations and procedures for the movement of people and goods. The project builds on the successful cooperation with this partner, which began in 2007, and further strengthens the organisational capacity of the partner organisation.
