For the first time in Germany, the Care Leaver Centre Dresden is establishing an advice and meeting centre for care leavers and civil society actors. The centre activates and supports an agile, social network to support care leavers and provides a safe and informal setting for individual counselling and retreat. The project encourages care leavers from Dresden and the entire federal state of Saxony to be proactive and advocate for their own interests with the aim of bringing their often difficult life situations to greater public attention and having their interests better represented at all levels of society.
The project is part of the initiative «Brückensteine Careleaver».
