With the Prize of the Federal States, the federal states honor a project that can be transferred regionally and interregionally. The Prize of the Federal States is endowed with 20,000 euros. The Fabmobil is a mobile technology workshop and a traveling art, culture and future laboratory for the rural areas of Easter Germany. It is a double-decker bus equipped with digital technology and machine tools and offers workshops and courses for young people in structurally weak areas. The Fabmobil teaches new digital creative technologies as well as computer-based art and design. The aim of the Fabmobil is to bring creative technologies such as 3D printing, virtual reality, robotics and programming to rural areas.
The «Fabmobil» project funded by DROSOS FOUNDATION aims to structurally and sustainably anchor digital-creative offerings in local educational institutions.
