The Tunisia Digital Factory was created to provide assistance to young Tunisian graduates from disadvantaged backgrounds living in the interior regions suffering from high levels of unemployment. Currently the unemployment rate of these youngsters is at 50%, whereas the national average for graduates stands at 30%.
The young people who take part in this project will receive training in new technologies, especially in coding with the aim of helping them find a job in the information technology sector either as an employee of a company or by setting themselves up as a freelancer.
