The International Institute for Very Very Serious Studies – Discovering Street Performance as a Tool for Developing Life Skills

The project builds the capacity of 12 young artists to engage youth in disadvantaged areas throughout Lebanon in street performance projects. The participants have the opportunity to use creative expression and street performance to explore their communal, cultural and personal identity. It promotes cohesion among the youth, builds self-esteem, and gives them a voice to express issues that relate to their own lives and their communities. Furthermore, Clown Me In receives capacity-building training during the project, to prepare them for the opening of a new school for street performance in Lebanon and the region – the International Institute for Very Very Serious Studies!
