Tanouir – Mostakbali (my future)

The project uses innovative educational methods to promote the personal development of students in public primary schools in rural areas. More than 2,000 children from eight schools will participate in creative workshops. Essential life skills will be taught with the help of theatre, singing, reading and dancing. The students will also improve their knowledge of the French language and learn how to express themselves more effectively in spoken French. They will also receive advice to help them choose their future educational pathway. 30 teachers and eight school principals will attend training courses designed to encourage them to become more involved in school life. 700 parents will benefit from awareness-raising programmes and additional support will be provided to 15 organisations that work with vulnerable children and young people. An initial project of this nature entitled Tanouir has already been implemented with the support of Drosos Foundation.
