She in Cinema (CIMA)

She in Cinema aims to build the skills of 50 female filmmakers in Egypt through specialized training courses, and to promote their access to the film industry through 20 public shows in various governorates. A new generation of young female filmmakers may address social issues of concern to women while at the same time achieve income-generating productions. The Aswan International Women Film Festival’s cinema workshops will engage around 100 youth. 60 youth from local communities will develop their cell phone filming skills. A specialized studio will facilitate the production of films from a development perspective.
