Musée Collectif

The project Musée Collectif is a programme of artistic workshops focusing on the collective memory of Casablanca’s neighbourhoods. The workshops cover everything from illustration, photography, film and sound art, to comic strips, design and journalism. The programme aims to develop the personal skills of 700 disadvantaged children and young people, as well as make them more aware of the importance of collective memory. Participants are taught that valuing their cultural heritage is not only crucial for personal development, but also for the future of the society. The project involves establishing the Musée Collectif, which is a permanent space dedicated to the collective memory of the city and neighbourhoods of Casablanca.
