Fabmobil

With the “Fabmobil” mobile digital workshop, Lausitz*labs is supporting cultural and educational institutions in rural Lausitz as they establish their own digital workshops on a self-organised basis. The aim is to give young people in this structurally weak region ongoing and enduring access to digital education and to teach them innovative future-oriented skills. The participating institutions provide the premises and personnel assistance and in turn the Fabmobil supports the setting-up process with basic technical equipment and professional support. Together with the active young participants, each Lausitz*lab develops an individual use concept and establishes a permanent digital education offer in rural areas.
