Libraries are a Source of Knowledge

In cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality, eight public children’s libraries are being upgraded and equipped with child-friendly material.
Through training librarians and community members in the use of storytelling, shadow and interactive theatre, music and crafts, the House of Tales and Music Friends promotes the role of children’s libraries as centres of learning and personal development for children.
This gives around 2,000 children the opportunity to discover creative expression and develop their self-expression, communication and life skills.
