This training is the first of its kind in Tunisia. It is designed to help learn young women from disadvantaged backgrounds about the world of cinema. It includes the making, filming and post-production of a film. At the same time as receiving their training in the film trade, they also experience what it is really like to make and produce a film from start to finish. This training programme is unique because it combines cinematography with personal development as it strives to equip women with tools to increase their self-awareness and really bring their talents to the fore in their work.
A little bit of theory and a lot of practice. The best way to learn is doing, not theorising.
This initiative aims to popularise the cinema art, to diversify it and enrich it through the integration of more women into the industry.
