Getting down to the sound

The project has set out to create an internet platform for podcasts that provide audio depictions of youth projects, with the overarching aim of opening up a broader audience. Around 25 young people who are already involved in six ongoing projects from Drosos Foundation in Switzerland are creating the podcasts in a series of workshops. Thereby, the participants tackle their project activities in a creative and constructive manner. Moreover, their main findings and results are prepared in order to enable media dissemination in the form of podcasts through a variety of channels (radio broadcasts, websites, social media and in particular through the development of an Internet platform). The access to a broad audience enhances both the portrayed projects and the commitment of the participants. The latter acquire creative, journalistic and social skills that offer added value on an individual level and also bring about broader public awareness of the respective project.
