Professionalising You Artists from the Arab World

The role of arts in developing young people’s skills is significant. Shubbak, based in London, is one of the largest festivals of contemporary arts and culture featuring artists from the Arab world. By working with young emerging artists, their professionalism, development and marketing are strengthened. For the first time, five emerging and five established young artists will hone their international profiles at the Shubbak Festival 2019. In addition, four emerging artists will be attending Shubbak’s professional programme to support their career development. The social impact of young artists who undergo professional mentoring services will be studied in addition to the impact of three local organisations engaged in a professional exchange.
