Equitable Farming

This local partner organisation is focused on engaging small-scale farmers in a fair value chain, with the overall aim of improving their living conditions and economic status. The farmers work collectively to overcome land fragmentation, lower the costs of farming and increase their ability to access export markets with a shorter chain of intermediaries. An agricultural service centre is set to be established that will provide farmers with access to good agricultural practices, logistical infrastructure and up-to-date information. Throughout, the motivation and inspiration for the small farmers is to achieve equitable returns for their efforts.
