Dabateliers

The Dabateliers project offers 1,200 children and young people between 8 and 17 years old the opportunity to attend weekly theatre workshops, cultural excursions and become involved in an annual performance in front of a large audience. This creative journey consists of writing tasks, improvisation and performing various theatrical scenes. The workshops are also offered as part of summer camps, thereby giving an additional 1,300 children the opportunity to experience the art of acting and theatre.
The project allows the team at Dabateatr to expand on their initial project, which was also supported by Drosos Foundation, to host workshops in new regions and to professionalise and improve the performance of the artists and entertainers.
There are also plans to provide training for the teaching staff involved in the project, launch new partnerships (particularly with the Ministry of Culture) and optimise the use of the organisation’s resources.
