Drama has the effect of enhancing students’ literacy and self-expression and helps teach students how to become responsible citizens, not only for their locality of Palestine but also in a global sense. Drama as taught by Creative Child encourages students to take an active interest in broader climate change to the same extent as the cleanliness of their immediate environment. This contributes significantly to creating future generations that are more empowered, simply by enabling students to take themselves, their thoughts and ideas, and ultimately their actions, more seriously than before.
This project will work towards these ends by reinforcing the capacities of 251 teachers in the use of drama in education, and by training 15 teachers to themselves become trainers of other teachers in these methods.
