Opportunities for All

This project crowns the outstanding achievements of the first partnership with the Drosos Foundation by extending the partner’s services for children with disabilities in Deir El Balah. Children make inclusive use of library facilities, take part in playful activities that promote literacy and learning, or pursue creative pastimes and learn how to draw, paint or do handicrafts. The project targets around 7000 children in an inclusive manner, as well as 200 children with learning difficulties, 400 parents and 160 educators. The pilot project is extending the services offered by the partner to two local public elementary schools. This is to increase the impact for children and to empower the educational system through the provision of successful examples on the ground.
