Cairo Contemporary Dance Center

The project aims to support a creative space that develops young people’s skills and utilises contemporary dance as a form of self-expression. The Cairo Contemporary Dance Center offers a professional three-year programme for young people aged 18-28 that will train a new generation of young professional dancers. Past students are also involved in the programme as trainers and choreographers.
The centre engages various sections of the community, such as children and young amateur dancers, who are encouraged to participate in open classes, short-term activities or as audiences of performances. The repertoire created by the students will be promoted nationally and internationally.
