BEST – Grisons School Theatre

BEST – The Grisons School Theatre stands for professional, participatory theatre in schools located in the Canton of Grisons. Students engage with a topic or story and receive technical support to work on a theatre production. The participants get involved in the process in their own way, with their own opinions, interests and topics. BEST goes one step further than regular school theatre projects, as it includes the BEST Festival in which up to 20 school classes present their productions to each other and critically discuss their pieces and their own work. The festival is held alternately in Chur and other regions of the canton.
Following on from the first successful project, BEST aims to expand and further develop its educational theatre work in schools, as well as establish its programme throughout the canton.
