The economic and social empowerment of youth in rural areas

Drawing on local know-how and traditional methods for saving and borrowing, the aim of this project is to promote the professional integration of 800 young people – 70% of whom are women – living in the rural areas of four Moroccan regions. Through a training programme that covers personal development, transfer of expertise relating to the growth sectors of Morocco and entrepreneurship – including social enterprises – these young people will receive the guidance they need to generate and diversify their source of revenue through individual or collective income-generating activities.
