Auja EcoCentre

From 2010 to 2014, Drosos Foundation supported a social enterprise-managed environmental centre in the Jordan Valley. Since the end of the project, the centre has been running successfully, both operationally and financially. It is committed to regional environmental issues and offers interested parties information and activities related to the environment, tours of the surrounding region and accommodation facilities. The Auja EcoCentre has received around 10,000 visitors since it opened, including many school classes as well as tourists and environmental experts.
The current project builds on this success. It allows the partner a period of reflection and provides support for its organisational development, so that the environment centre can expand and also strengthen its presence in Ramallah.
